Quick reply position/linear-newest first

Hi all,

Is it possible when forum members view the forum in Linear with Newest posts first to move the Quick Reply box to the top or underneath the latest post? But still have it at the bottom for members using the Linear-Oldest first view?

Its a request from a member on my forums, and its got me

-Not even sure if its possible?!
