Wow, its definitely in your face!!

For me, its to much information in my face. I am uncertain what to do at first. I can tell its about muscle cars.. but what do I do now.. type of thing.

on the forum itself, the logo is great,... you could use parts of your logo to make the forumbit icons and threadicons too...

exploit that logo and its colors to make the scheme of your templates, it would light up the style and make it unique!
