Hi, I want to know if there is a way to compress to a zip file an entire folder using cPanel, or using SSH access, if so, how is the command to compress a folder? my hosting use linux

Via ssh,

gzip file.extension

Tar and gzip the folder in one command.

tar cvfx folder.gz foldername
