Connect Multiple vBulletins
Hi,
Im Currently Building a Website for a Charity in Australia, We Have Purchased 1 vBulletin Licence and By Domain are Looking to Purchase Several Other vBulletin Licences for Other Communitys and Groups in Our State to Also Install on Our Server / Website, I Was Wondering if it is Possible to Integrate all the vBulletins With a Single Login Style System, IE mydomain.com/charityforum mydomain.com/charity1forum mydomain.com/charity2forum We are Currently Using Joomla as a CMS System and are Running Our User Registration and Management via vBulletin Using vBulletin Duo Sync Bridge from E-Learning Force (http://www.elearningforce.biz/bridge...ridge-cb.html). Out of the box, there isnt a way. Many months ago I saw a topic or modifiaction on here which allowed several boards to use a the same "vb3_user" table. I cant find this now. May have been written for an older version of VB (3.0?). That would be your best choice ( I think).
Bit of an overkill, but you could use LDAP system. I wrote a modification which can link VB into LDAP, and there's another one around as well which you can pay for. Another solution would be Apache authentication. No modification for this as far as I know. |
