Images and fixed width
I`m new to vbulletin and have just converted over from smf. I am also looking to redesign our website and skin the vbulletin eventually to match the main site.
I`m torn between creating a fixed width or fluid layout, however the fixed is probably easier due to the large amount of images/maps we use. Anyways, that`s not really vbulletin related! If we created vbulletin theme and fixed width centred. Does vbulletin have preventative measures, when someones posts a large image via IMG tags so that it doesn`t break the layout? If so, does it simply resize larger images or shove some scroll bars in there so that the full image can still be viewed? Thanks. |

There's a few mods that would work on images that are linked.

Thanks,
Do you know if there are any mods/plugins that do server side resizing? I`ve seen a couple of mods that resize larger images, but they use javascript which works on the client side. Doesn`t help if someone has javascript disable for some reason. Failing that, is there anything that uses the SMF idea of creating frames/scroll bars around oversize images, thus it doesn`t break the layout of a fixed width board? |
