Installed Modifications to....
Is there a way to make the"installed mods" in our usercp more customizable ? Some of us have more then one forum we run, and all the sites dont always have the same mods installed. Think it would be helpful if we can catagorize which mods can go to which site. So when we are upgrading one site we can go into that section of the installed mods and see which ones needed to be updated easily.
For example Mod 1,3,4,5,9 Installed to Forum A Mod 2,6,7,8 Installed to Forum B Mod 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 installed to forum C Possible in a future update or is it already there and Im missing it ? |

i think it goes all to you to deal with that kind of management... vB.org is not your task manager... think of it... (it is the usual answer from guys here that requested that long time ago!)

It's a great idea though and wouldn't be hard to do either.

I think it's a terrific idea. Current I just have multiple usernames and organise installs that way but it's a pain to do.

that's how I do it as well, though I still think this is an excellent idea as it would make it much easier

I am not saying that we will never implement such a system, but it is very low on our priority list.
This is typically something that you should administer in another way, a text or spreadsheet on your PC for example. |

Actually, I think the proper place for this is in the admincp itself. The version check is nice, but it needs to go a step further and show the version status with some sort of simple indicator next to each installed mod. Basically, what I think the org needs FWIW is a mod server.
