Mood Modification - Updated Details »»

|||||||||||||||||||||||||
I?ve noticed a rather impressive ?hack? for the mood changer has been added to 3.6.5, but personally, I don?t like adding too many ?hacks? to my board, so I updated the original mood hack for others who do not want to keep adding ?hacks? to their boards.
This ?template modification? displays member mood in their postbit. The mood is displayed as an image and members can change in UserCP > Edit Options. The original modification was designed from ?mood hack? written by MyIs_Jordan and I had his/her permission to make the changes from vb2 to vb3+ The modification works great in all versions of vb3+ and is really for those members that do not want to add any more ?code hacks? to their board. Since this is purely a template modification it should never conflict with any other ?hack? you have installed. If you have installed this modification in an earlier version of vb3 then there is no need to upgrade and/or update as it still works and if you upgrade all you really need to do is add back the changes to the postbit and/or postbit_legacy The original modification for vb3.5 can be seen here. His is a "software hack" and mine is simply a template modification for those who do not like too many "software hacks" installed on their boards.
I have nothing to say about his hack and there isn't thing wrong with it...I just prefer not to keep adding hacks to my board.

Will this still work for 3.7.0 (Beta 5)? If not, can it be updated? Thanks!
