i would like to know why i am so low in alexa rankings. is it the lack of seo? what can i do to improve the site?

Holy crap, your site is like 3 times bussier than mine, but my alexa ranking is around 5 times smaller! www.alchemist-team.net Why could that be?

Perhaps its because its very slow for the Alexa crawl bot? Accually, yes it is.. if you goto your traffic page, it says Unkown for the last few days and such, the reason for this is Alexa cannot get into your site! I suggest you try the following in order:

1. Remove any robots.txt you may have
2. Check and remove .htaccess if you donot need it like most people
3. Get Zoints SEO and follow a tutorial or guide on how to make your vBulletin bot friendly!

Also make sure you have a Google account and have signed up for webmaster tools and the stats thing they got, but i cant spell and when i write it looks rude

They have some thing where you submit a sitemap to get a pagerank, i have not done it... the tutorial for it is like 5 pages long and i simply cannot be bothered as i dont see the importance :P

i do have google analytics on the site and it shows i get about 100 to 200 visitors per day.
hopefully it will go up as i am agressively trying to get more links out there on high ranking pages and will be adding a lot of content and guides on stuff. Also the vbseo has got to help.

Thats wierd, your site does better than mine is so many ways yet my alexa owns yours, send them an email!

i removed the ht.acccess file i had and also got vbseo and its been dropping. i also been trying to keep the images as small as possible on the main page for faster loading.

just wanted to give an update on this. i had the session timeout set really high so it held people online for longer. i think thats what was causing a super slow loading time for alexa rankings.
