is it possible to assign a image to a certain usergroup so when someones in this usergroup it adds a assigned image to either side of there name

The best thing to use for such a feature is the "User Ranks" as they deal with images to display ranks... but you can apply a "Username HTML Markup" set per usergroup ... where you add the img code with the image you want to display aside of the name.
