Hello,

Long time reader, first time poster. (Okay, I've always wanted to say that).

I'm looking to find a way to include a button to social bookmarking sites, next to the quote button, for each post (see attached photoshopped screenshot).

With social bookmarking becoming more and more popular, I think this could be a good way to get more traffic to boards. Add This seems to combine all of the sites into one easy bookmark link and could be a nice way to get fresh blood to forums.

I'll hang up and listen.

Isn't there a mod for this? I don't know all the different social bookmarking sites, and it would be nice to have a collection of sites, and buttons to use

I am working on adding this to my site but my question is when I create a link with variables in it.....what am I supposed to put in to fill in these gaps?

This is really not related to the topic, you could post a hack request and see if someone can do it.

I use the ZH-X This Thread mod. It adds icons/links to social bookmark a post with Digg, Del.Icio.Us, Technorati, Furl, Mister Wong, Newsvine, Spurl, reddit and Netscape. I can't say exactly how to put it by the quote button, but I am sure you can edit the template to achieve this.

ZH-X This Thread is newer, but there is also the Submission Buttons mod.
