more ranking? No way!

A 1.000.000 posts threads = server killer

server no repsonse = nobody wants to visit

idea = crap

(sorry for the last line, but it was just a funny continuation of my post)

Higher traffic itself does not generate income unless you use the stats to encourage advertisers. Frankly, if you asked me to pay to advertise on your forum that had this sort of content just to boost stats you can guess my answer. Think again.

Fine just close the thread if you dont like my attempt to help people.

#5 03-30-2007, 12:43 PM

it is not "helping people", it is just a suggestion for a detail...

this is like "hey, spam all your friends to join your forum, it will help you for trafic"... this is not friendly at all, and this can be bummer... you will loose your friends too.

This is a Post Wh*re game. There are several you can start for them to 'play'. It will keep your PWs posting, but don't forget about the real reason for your site - you need to keep their interest there too.

Luky - you may as well just get a dam job if you are after some money.
But if you are going to start a forum, make it good not a spam junkyard.

1. I have a job.
2. Forums are not free. It would be nice to get some of the money back out of the forum to help pay for it and other addons possible aswell as some paid advertising.

It was just an idea, no need to flame me, one person said it was a crap idea, isnt that enough? -.-

Ezo · #9 04-01-2007, 04:15 PM
