Okay, give it to me straight. How does my site/forum look to you geniuses? I am just getting into this about 8 months now and haven't made too many changes from the original style.

Can you see anything I can do different to help out my site ranking or appearance? Should I be using any very good mods or products that would help out the overall site?

Thanks in advance and please be easy, but critical if that is possible.

And to think, back when I used to fish the best I caught was a footlong catfish.

Site: Changing the default link color to something else would be a good start. Border:0px; on the images would help too. The 'Fishing Discussions' image uptop doesn't seem too much like a link but more like a header to the array of links you have down the right side. On the 'Fishing Hook Removal' subpage the layout (save for content area) repeats below the page. It's an error in your template, probably due to a copy/paste as opposed to cut/paste. What CMS are you using?

Forums: Look alright, default colours but alright.

Thanks. I forgot how to change the link color back to original.

I realised that the "fishing discussion" link does look more like a header and needs to be changed.

I am using mysql.

The fishing hook removal page is having a problem with the library item repeating itself every time I make a change. I have recently created a new one and am working on getting that page fixed as the others have been.

The header on your forum repeats on large resolution.

With just a rather quick overview...and basic thoughts...

get a custom skin...(in my point of view...the default vb skin is retchid...and needs to be redone by default...)...but yeah...you should definately get a better skin that matches the forum theme...

remove the moderator column...it looks bad for one, and secondly...if someone wants to know who mods what forums...they can look at the forum leaders list... http://www.atlanticanglers.com/forum/showgroups.php
