Border on postbit?

I'm trying to create my First skin

In doing so i wanted to have a border around the entire postbit in every post, To help separate it form the post itself. That and I have the background of the post and the postbit the same color, so it really doesn't look right without this.

A solid color would be ok, but if there is a way to do an image as the boarder, that would be even better

Is this possible? if so how would i go about doing so?

I'm using 3.6.4 if that makes any difference.
