VB and Frames - Possible?
I have a pool league setup on http://www.Myleague.com/SureShots , the site has one left frame and one right frame. I want to know if it would be possible to have my VB forum in the right frame? The forum itself would be hosted on a seperate website, not myleague.com
I know this might cause a problem with cookies and people logging in. If the URL dont match the cookie URL settings, login fails. We currently use a phpbb forum, and I tried playing around with having it in the right frame, but it didn't work. So we just host our forum on it's own website www.SureShotters.com/forum It's been a while since then. We are now about to switch to VB because we like it better. Just wondering if anyone has successuly ran VB in a framed window, and the forum be on another server. So basically, if I installed my forum on my sureshotters.com server, would it function properly within a frame on another site? Also, I have been looking over all the mods/addons for VB and there was a few I couldn't find I was wondering if there was anything like a Virtual Pet system, Virtual Life/Marriage Mod, or anything similiar. I tried searches but didn't see any. I have those on my current forum and my members will miss them if I dont find something close to replace them. Thanks for any info on this ! P.S. If you click the above link to my current forum you will not be able to view it, sorry it's a private forum, I only posted the link for an example. |

You should be able to resolve cookie issues if you use an IFRAME instead of a standard framset.
