Different user rank icons depending on style

If I were to use icons for my User Ranks, is there a way to set up different user rank icon sets depending on what style a user is using? For example, if they are using a dark style, they have User Rank icons better suited for a dark background. And if they are using a light style, they would have user rank icons suited for the lighter background.
