A host that can use the latest version of vbulletin

I use godaddy shared hosting and they have been pretty stable. I run a small board, 40 users or less at max normally so I haven't put them to a real test, but they've done well so far. The customer service, while not always the smartest, has always been instant, this is something I require with my new host.

I am looking to switch to a similar plan with a new host that can support that latest version of vbulletin since vbulletin 3.6 requires php version 4.3.3 or later and godaddy only gives up to 4.3.1 on shared hosting plans.

My plan specs are below:

• 200 GB Space • 2,000 GB Transfer
• 2,000 Email Accounts • FREE! Software
• 50 MySQL Databases • Unlimited Email Forwards
• Forums, Blogging, Photo Galleries • No ads

I also use Go Daddy and I use vB 3.6.5 and haven't had any problems with the php use....but I have had numerous problems with connectivity and lag here lately.

Dagummit, are you using shared or dedicated hosting, on shared hosting you cannot upgrade your php version, only on dedicated with godaddy.

I have noticed the lag issues as well, I can't stand the randomness of it.

godaddy hosting is terrible you should consider switching hosts anyway.

Check out, hostgator.com asmallorange.com and im sure there are some other great ones out there.

If you are seriously looking for a host that offers 200 GB Space 2,000 GB Transfer and you are paying anything less than 200 a month, then you're probally not ngoing to find it.

$19.95 a month from dreamhost for 254.1 GB storage and 2.541 TB transfer / month. However they are not the most reliable host in the world and I'd not consider them for any of my own projects.
