Using VBulletin member database for other areas of site
Hi all,
Long time Vbulletin user, first time poster here! I'd like to add some members-only domains to my website (www.cystinuria.org) and i would like to have the membership simply be a registration with our forums. Thus, i would like to use that database to apply a user's name and PW when entering members only parts of the site. Does anyone have any information on how i may be able to accomplish this? Perhaps this has been discussed before and i missed the post. Links are appreciated as well as any info! THanks all, matt lewis |

I'm very new to this, but you may consider using member's only directories within your domain. I finally got a this mod working. Simple vB User login and access control on non vB pages
I couldn't get it to work on a subdomain and ended up moving the forum from a subdomain to a standard directory. Good luck, Brandon |
