Upgrading. Should I un-hack forum first?

If I have a hacked forum (3-4 hacks) should I unhack the forum when doing an upgrade from 3.0 to 3.6?

Yes, you should unhack your files if upgrading from 3.0 to 3.6.

From 3.0 to 3.6? I'd say uninstall them, yes. Because they most likely don't work at all on 3.6. Depends on what it is
