Non-Activated members notification
Hi Everyone,
I am sure this is mentioned/hack somewhere but I can't find it: The problem: I've seen more and more members registering and mistyping their email address twice (don't ask me how). I am also getting more and more messages from those members that they can't complete the registration and that my system isn't working. I've found trying to explain to them what they should do to "correct" the mistake is just impossible. What I would like: I know it is impossible for vBulletin to pickup that the email used were invalid unless you can create some sort of a template and field in the DB to manually enter "registration email failed/invalid" and then displaying a specific message to that user when he/she tries to logon. Does this exist? But it must be possible to have a notification on the forum for when such a member log on to tell them that the registration wasn't completed, link to "change your email address if incorrect, and any other things I'd like to mention. I am not sure if that makes sense Thanks |
