Javascript in navbar template...problem

I have added some javascript code after all of the code in the navbar template, and no matter what code I use, if there is javascript in it, my quick edit function doesn't work properly...and I get a weird error when replying to a post in the font size dropdown box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
