This hack used to work on 1.x but I cant seem to get it to work anymore. Can anyone make a new one for version 2 or possibly make this one work?
Also we should be able to add urls into it so that the script will realize if they are on our chat page or home page etc. Can this be done? Kier? http://www.iguanaland.com/vbforums/onlineusers.php.txt Thanks ~Chris |

Tracking a user's location in vBulletin 2.0 is not possible at this time. In 1.1.X this was tracked in the session table but the location field has been dropped.

Is anyone working on a hack to re-add the location field and track it? This would be a very nice hack to have.

It is trivial to add the location back. Just add the field to the session table and then look how 1.1.x just saves the URL to the database and put that into sessions.php
It was only removed as John did not see a need for it to be there anymore as he was unaware of the who's online hack. |
