[BUG] Mass Installer does not working anymore 2.6.0 · **Released**: 02-27-2007

Bug?

After updating to 2.6.0 the Massimporter is not longer working. It allways says that my /tar Directory was not 777 chmoded but it is. Checked it double.

Singleinstall of Games is still working.

Attention everyone - this Bug seems to appear on every Board updated to 2.6.0 ! Tested it now on a second Board!

Hmmm ...... something is funny. If you click on the Massinstallerlink it is installing "one" Game. But then the Errormessage for the others.

I installed one and then six at one time...The installer worked fine for me...

There are more Users then me with the same Problem. Maybe it is a Problem by Mass of Games. I have 1200 Games to install which works fine some Updates ago.

Yes, I admit I really FORGOT to reflect all the changes and improvements done to the TAR-Installer to the mass-install-function, sorry.
Will fix this ...

I am not sure if I'll do a v2.6.1+ for this, or just provide a hotfix for AdminCP...

I am on holiday from 7th to 18th march and totally offline then, I don't know if I get this done before, but will try to

Hotfix will be enough for this.

After Update to 2.6.1 - same Problem but not longer the above describe Errormessage.

1000 Games or 10 Games. Sometimes some Games are going to be installed sometimes not. But allways a Timeout after some Minutes.

I found the Problem now. The Installer is not stopping on Defect Games like it does if you try to install the Games without the Mass Installer. So it goes into a Timeout.

AH I am having the same issues. I was able to install 2200+ games then all a sudden it wont mass install any amount of games now. I keep getting a server error. Did work for two straight days now nothing. I can install one by one which is so damn slow.

if you are using v2.6.1+ it will work fine, if you still encounter any error, the game is corrupt, remove it and continue/restart the massinstaller...
