After I added vBadvanced I noticed that I needed to change the charset to from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 to make some of the pages show correctly.

I've seen in the language settings in the adminCP that it's possible to change the charset from there, but was wondering if it would have any negative effect on the database and if it was safe to do this?

Is it maybe possible to write an if condition in headinclude (style options), so it only use UTF-8 on vBa pages?

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
