Custom question when registrering

I would like to add, for example, a question like : Where did you hear about our forum?
when people would register.

I am sure this is probably really simple but don't know how. I use 3.6.4 version.

You should be able to add a custom profile field via the admin cp. You can choose to set it as "Require on Registration"
