Allow 'Make Votes Public' to be checked by default · **Released**: 02-14-2007

This simple modification to your poll.php will allow the "Make Votes Public" to be checked by default when creating your poll. This has been tested and working on:

www.redlinemotorsports.org

Don't forget to click INSTALL

Support will only be given to those who have clicked INSTALL

Not a problem. It took me a good while to find it as I thought it would be in a template like the "Remember Me" for the login. But I guess not

New posting templates -> newpoll template

Find

Code:

<input type="checkbox" name="public" value="1" id="cb_public" tabindex="1" $checked[public] />

And change to

Code:

<input type="checkbox" name="public" value="1" id="cb_public" tabindex="1" $checked[public] checked="checked" />

No file edit required. Enjoy.
