New Posting Features - Allow 'Make Votes Public' to be checked by default

As requested by ZomgStuff here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=139492

This simple modification to your poll.php will allow the "Make Votes Public" to be checked by default when creating your poll. This has been tested and working on:

www.redlinemotorsports.org

Don't forget to click INSTALL

Support will only be given to those who have clicked INSTALL

Ah thank you so much!

[HMBeaty]

Not a problem. It took me a good while to find it as I thought it would be in a template like the "Remember Me" for the login. But I guess not

[Ntfu2]

It is,

New posting templates -> newpoll template

Find

<input type="checkbox" name="public" value="1" id="cb_public" tabindex="1" $checked[public] />

And change to

<input type="checkbox" name="public" value="1" id="cb_public" tabindex="1" $checked[public] checked="checked" />

No file edit required. Enjoy.

[HMBeaty]

Hmm. I must've looked over that then

Thanks

Works great for 3.8

Any chances of a vb 4.0 upgrade?
