php upgrade trouble???
My host upgrade php to 5.2.1, now all my users can not get to the main page of the forum, but rather only can go somewhere that is linked within the forum. After going to a thread etc they then can go back to the main page.
Has anyone else seen this issue or has something similar happened to anyone else? If so how did you fix it? |

Is the site the one in your sig? If so, it's working for me.

yeah it is...I think that the issue is for those trying to log in that were already members...
If I clear all cookies etc, then go to it it is ok, but when I try to log in that is when I get a blank white page. Could you register then try for me? |

I got the white screen you talk about when completing registration. But when I logged in, all was fine.
Check your vB options for the "Cookies and HTTP Header Options" => "Add Standard HTTP Headers" setting. Is it on or off? |

it is off (set to "no")
Also, when using quick reply, it was saying that it was a duplicate thread....when it was not. The host reverted back to 5.2.0 and all is fine again. Might this be a new set of bugs with php? |

Sounds more like a setting or memory issue.

Yeah I think you are right on that, he reverted, and I posted the error logs on vb.com, and there were a ton of memory issues....he upped the mem etc setting in the .ini and everything seems to be ok right now....thank you for the response VB rules
