Hello,

Is it possible to configure vbulletin to encrypt (on storing) and decrypt (on viewing) messages in a forum? If not can this be written as a hack or plug-in?

Without any programming, is it possible configure vbulletin to have independent (from the main forum) skin and background for each subforum?

Yes, thats a default feature.

You would have a parent style and then you would create a child style with any changes and you can set the subform to use that child style.
