Im just looking for a general review on my website. The layout, style etc. The style is my own colours, and status icons, ive taken the header, and border from the Dark Castle style. Which is included in the copyright.

Nice job on the site, looks neat and easy to read. I like the subj. of your forum and may join up.

The log is nice looking, but the text is to blurry, I can not read the name of the forum at all. Also it does not feel like it is part of the index page.

The forum status icons blend into the background too much, I had to highlight them to see that they were there. The Welcome message does not give me much information as to why I would want to join the forum. Edit it to contain more unique information about your community.

The forums themselves seem a bit random. Without the description you posted here I would have no idea what the site was about.

The colors go good with your theme, though some people have issues reading the white on black for a long time. A lighter skin alternative would not be a bad idea at some point.

Calash, I think the logo being blurry is to match the theme, I think it works. The staus icons too are easy to tell when there are no or no new posts. Maybe you need a new monitor? I wear glasses and use a laptop and have no problems with the site.

Thats the reason i use the status icons i do, because there easy to tell when theres a new post, and when there isnt. Also the Logo is designed to match the theme of the site/group.

Gotta agree with the others, I can scarely see any of the status icons and the blurry logo is unreadable. I'm using a laptop as well.

I think the look overall needs something that stands out. At the moment it feels like almost one colour everywhere, there's no distinction between what should be subtle, what should stand out or anywhere in between. The avatar etc border on the postbit for instance stands out as much as the text and makes it look terribly cluttered, whereas the statusicons are almost invisible (I'm on a laptop as well, one with a Vaio X-Black screen no less ).

I'd agree that you also need something that says "Here We Are". The only thing that gives away the subject of your forum is the links section. I suppose the logo might do but I can't read it.
