Since yesterday something strange has been happening on my http://theice.co.uk/ site.

All emails that are generated by the server are being sent without line breaks in them. Well - I say all, it could just be the emails I'm receiving on my gmail account - but I'm going to assume it's all of them.

This isn't a good thing as I have a lot of new members joining the site as a result of an advertising push I'm doing, and I don't want them getting confused having to try and workout the confirmation email because of no line breaks.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Quick update: I have a second vB forum running on the same server, and that's sending emails fine, so it's just TheICE.co.uk which has the problem. I've not made any changes nor added anything to the site prior to the problem starting, so I'm totally confused as to what could be causing it

I've done a bit of invistigation and it turns out the problem is due to the mails being sent as html - even though they don't contain any html content. The header has the following:

Code:

Content-Type: text/html; charset="ISO-8859-1"

when it's meant to have:

Code:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"

So the question is - how can I fix this?

theice.co.uk is using SMTP or sendmail to send email?

And how about the other forum site?

I found the problem, it was caused by the weekly stats mod.
