Really kewl idea for a site............only thing i notice and maybe it is just my computer, but is there any differance between the no new post and the new post icon's? If there isn't, i would look at changing them a bit different.......maybe just switch the color of the buttons.

It is a nice concept for the site. As far as I can tell, Hotwheels is correct, there is no difference between New Posts, and No New Posts icons. What I would do is change the light green color on the No New Post icon to the same dark color as the bottom part of it.

On the main page the links on the bottom are orange and without emphasis. On the forums pages they are yellow and in bold. Applying the same formatting (I would go with the plain orange) throughout the site would be a good idea. At the moment, disregarding the issue with the buttons, they are the biggest discrepancy throughout your layout.
Also, is the blank space to the right of the google ads (on the main page) intentional? I'm on Opera so it may just be me but the table looks asymmetric without anything there to anchor the right wall. I won't comment on the 'Articles' page as I see you're still working on it. Other than that, it's a pretty good design. |
