Too many points being given?!

I am currently building my site on VB, and have just started to test the points system, by posting two posts.
Having posted 2 posts, I managed to rack up 20,000 points from just 2 posts. Any help?

ARe all of your settings right in the vbplaza and forums? The forums where you've posted posts, scroll down to the Posting Rules box and see how many points users are supposed to get for posting a reply. If the number says something like 15 but everytime you post you're getting thousands of points then it's most likely something in the coding that has to be changed (not options from the CP).
