I get bots from this host name constantly, on all of my sites. They do nothing mut try and register on my forums. WHat are they and what can I do to stop them does anyone know?

You just said it's coming from keymachine.de. Just ban the domain: *.keymachine.de

I have done the same i have banned *.keymachine.de but they still keep coming back?

Doesnt work, I had a problem with them and many more registering on my forums.

Solution...

Add a custom question on signup with only 1 answer that people will know.

Example:

"Whats the opposite of cold?"
answer: hot

100% spam stopped, signups, posts everything...

I would agree also. There is a mod for this also that shows a series of images and you have to chose which image the question is asking for.

Cheers for your comments i have those options enabled, just find them on the site trying to register a lot, they dont get through but just keep trying which am guessing is eating bandwidth?
