Making my own article submission system
From my root, I'm going to have submit_article.php where logged in users can write articles and submit them to a table.
I'm using a login for non-vB pages script currently and I'm wondering what the best way to do this is. I'm not a fan of templates and this should only require snippets of query. I suppose I'd want to make a user submitted article table that's separate from vBulletin's db, correct? I will be using this system to submit my own articles as well. From the front page, I then want to be able to display things like "Newest Articles" "Most Popular Articles" (most page views) and such. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Save yourself alot of hassel... why don't you use GARS at http://www.thevbgeek.com/
His app works perfect... and you can still integrate it into your Non-VB pages that use global.php |

Hmm. I've been looking into them both and am going to install them both to play around with. I'll start with vbArticles since it has a free version.
Can anyone point out their GARS vs. vbArticles opinion? Anyone use either one? |

VBArticles is good except it has no seo work at all the titles nor the links so its worthless for getting your articles indexed or seo'd
