Flagged post automaticly moved to moderation queue

I was thinking - there should be a system similar to the report post feature, where as if a user reports a spam post, it is automatically removed from the general posts populous and placed into a posts moderation queue to be reviewed by staff.

In essence you place the community in charge of recognizing and flagging spam posts, thus giving them power to squash spammers (which will make them feel good at least ) and help the moderators who might not be on at all times.

Thoughts? Anyone wanna have a go at it? Does it exist and I am an idiot? The questions never cease!

The trouble with such a hack would be if you get a few bad apples who choose to flag every post.

I thought about doing the same thing once but decided against it. A user or a group of them could remove all posts from public view. While sad there are some out there who would lol.

I would have it moved to moderation after X amount of reported posts.
