paid membership question

Hi all,

I am really spinning my wheels here trying to figure this out by myself, so I thought I would ask the experts!

I am setting up an affiliate/membership program and I am using a third party affiliate program manager - AffPlanet for all the tracking "stuff". There is a fee for membership and I was going to have people sign up from the main site.
What I have decided is I want to have a members only area to the message board for people who pay the member fee. I have no problem setting up member payment through Vbulletin......

I guess my question is a) can i set up my site so when a member wants to pay they are redirected to vbulletin easily-seamlessly and more important, there are codes I need to tie to payments, etc. so AffPlanet can track affilates. That is where I am getting stuck and want to be sure I set it up right. Does anyone know much about 2checkout? I use paypal now for other venture and I am way stuck on this! I really appreciate your help!
