points not being deducted for gifts

please, can anyone help me out?

i set the cost of gifts and ribbons to 500 but it is not being deducted from members points, i have checked everywhere i can think of to find out why and can not figure it out

any ideas? thanks

ok, i think i finally figured out my problem, when i changed the option, can change always to no instead of yes then the points started being deducted for the items...

thought i would post this in case anyone else might encounter this problem
