Desperately Seeking Table/Banner Help.

I've tried a bunch of places and am not really getting any help, but I think it's probably any easy thing, just I'm not able to get it figure out.

I'm trying to make a banner that spans the 100% top of my page. I used a code from another site I found with exactly what I'm looking to do, but can't get an image into the background of the table and at the right height.

So, can anyone tell me how I get my custom background image in there to stretch 100% of the page within the table that would sit behind my custom logo image that sits on the left? I also want it to be the exact same height as the clickable logo I made.

I made a logo image that sits on the left side and background image. I tried to get it to work and the image came up and the table looked correct, but the background was black and I can't figure out at all how to insert my image and adjust the height to the same size as the background image.

This is the site with exactly I want to do. You can see that they have a clickable image as a link/logo on the left...I've got that down and working. But they have a grass looking background and I can't figure out where it is in the code/script or what i need to do to get my background working.

This is the code I'm using and if you use it on a test board you'll see that the logo comes up, the format is good but that background is black and too tall.

I'D BE HUGELY GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP!!!!!!!!!
