Glitch? tars don't seem to update.

I've installed 3 .tar games in my arcade and they show up fine but:

1. They don't show up in the "new games" list.
2. If someone gets a high score in one of these games, their userprofile doesn't get a "champ in XXXXXX game" status and it doesn't say it in the arcade main either.

Does anyone have an idea on what went wrong and how to fix it?

I had the same problem. What I did was I went into the arcade CP and looked at the list of new games. Some games did not have a category, not even default, so I fixed that and still some where coming back with fill all fields. So I tried and tried to figure it out and guess what it was? The Game Background Color (this value)
Put only the Hex value without the # (e.g. 000)
Default (000) is black
Was only set to 0 not 000. I fixed that and everything was fine. I hope this helps
