IPB 2.1.7 to Vbulletin
Hello.
I am running in ipb 2.1.7 and i would like to convert my forum to vbullettin... i likes vbulletin's layout and styles than ipb... so if i purchase the license here will you convert my current board to vbullettin??? i mean vbullettin support team... waiting for the reply... thanks |

I believe they have a converter for that, which is usually very simple to use

I've used IMPEX once. It's pretty simple to do a conversion

IMPEX is fool proof considering you follow the simple tutorial. However if you have modifications on your forum, eg an attachments system on phpBB, some features may not work in vBulletin. So in this case the attachments wont work.

Not when i tried, that was back at.... phpbb v.18? all links were incorrect for the attachments.

Attachements for phpBB2 have been supported for years, it was the first system for ImpEx that had the attachments added.

As Jerry replied: Attachments are supported for phpBB2, and you posted you tried it on phpBB1.8.
