Threadlist/Forumlist URL styles

Hi,

I have been trying to archive the following for a while. Kindly suggest a method if you would.

In the forum index i.e the forums and the thread list. I would like the following.

Old or read posts : Normal Link with underline.
New or unread posts : Bold link with underline.

How can I do this? appreciate your assistance.
