Ok i started the recently closed dldb.org
I have dldb.us
And i wanna start a site with catagorized free/opensource php scripts

Im looking through alot of scripts and was wondering would vb be right for this kinda project?

It would work. Might not be the best script for it though, but it certainly would work

i have the license so ill use it for the forum for it anyway

You would want some form of download management script.

I don't know about anyone else, but if you're creating a site dedicated to free / opensource projects, I find it a little strange that you would be using a commercial product for the forums.

Obviously, vBulletin is a better choice against opensource forums.. but still.
