i really like the theme, maybe you could edit these to have a trasparent background and to be a bit smaller, one the whole i really like them, what puts me off though is the pulsating effect, don't get me wrong it looks great but if i were to use these my eyes would be drawn to them and not the content of the board, and would probably make my eyes go all funny.

but thats just my opinion on the whole great job, your efforts have paid off and there a real nice set of ranks. now improve on what you know now and perfect them ^_^.

first i made the star.gif (background color was white)
then i made the ranks
and i can not change the background color now:S

how do i actualy install this>? I copied them in to the ranks folder but it still just shows the typed words.. not the picture
