bb code irc /me simulation

I am looking for a little mod that simulates the irc /me function

example:

/ me is looking for this mod

should be replaced with

*Creesch is looking for this mod

I have been playing a bit with the bb code add function in the admin control panel and class_bbcode.php But didn't have much luck. simply because my php knowledge is limited and I don't know what variables to use.

So it would mean a lot to me if anyone could help me out here
