Display latest forum post on php website

I have a php website.

How can I display the latest 5 posts on it??



Also is it possble to get a snippet of the post without any active links under the link to each post...

If not without links, is it possible to get only a snippet then?

No that was for 3.0.* and it didnt work for my forum (3.6.4)

Anyone knows where I can get a similar hack for 3.6.4?
