You can choose an announcement from any forum to be displayed inside the WOL box!BBCode and smilies parsed!
Works for 3.6

  • On/Off
  • Announcement id to be displayed
  • Announcement icon (New/Old)
  • Show Read More link?
  • Read more URL
  • Enable text trimming?
  • How many characters to display?
  • Parse smilies and bbcodes in announcements?

Sorry to be a pain, but I installed the hack but am stumped.

When editting the announcement in admincp the id is written after the title

The link to "Read more" is broken. Oh I have to manually set an URL and an annountement ID? Can't it be automated?

No because this way you can redirect it anywhere even to a thread.
