Default JavaScript to display forums - Vastly improve forum - IPB can do it!

The other day i saw a forum that allowed you to display / hide forums using javascript. It has been developed for Invision Power Board and its an amazing feature, it makes the forum so much nicer to use. I havent seen anything like this developed for vbulletin which is a real shame, i want these features but i dont want to use ipb again.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible with VB and if so would someone be able to come up with a script? If you want to see an example you can do here:

Skin Demo

I could be wrong but it looks like dean over @ d-scripting made a modification to the IPB script. It's not part of IPB by default nor is it being developed by IPB.

I cant see anything on ragezone about hiding catagorys. Yes it is a script made my dean for ipb, i was really hoping that something could be done for vbulletin because this is a feature i have been after for some time and i dont really want to move over to ipb to get it.

That'd be a cinch to do, if possibly needing some fiddling. It's really nothing more than a template modification, you wouldn't even need any additional javascript I don't think. You'd just move the existing showhide ^/V arrow code into a tab formation and adjust the code slightly to hide the entire forum section instead of leaving the blue bar showing. The only real problem would be screen space, he only has 4 tabs and it takes up quite a bit of room.

If you want to have a go yourself, if you modify the forumhome_forumbit_levelx_nopost templates and the forumhome template and I think you'd be done. Good luck! Best way to start is to get stuck in way above your head.

If you want this done specifically for you I think you'd have to put up some money as I've got lots of work at the moment, but I'm sure it would could be done quickly and cheaply.
