Wow that is great.. But this is for the State of California, how about other States ?

Not sure, but my company is incorporated in CA and hosted in CA...so it would for sure effect me.

Doesnt matter where its hosted. The fact your incorporated in CA is what makes the difference.

And bada_bing this sets a precedent for all future cases, so expect more to follow soon.

Web Sites Owners - good news and bad

The bad is that it opens a cans of worms in responsibility and deterrence to do bad things.
I feel more mud slinging and lawlessness on its way.

I love when users on my site say:

OMG I love this reply ZACH. I have to remember that.

I have had users tell me that they have the right to say whatever they want. They usually leave soon after

I have had users threaten libel suits tho.
