PMs from the arcade don't get pop-up or email alerts

I've got a new vBulletin system I'm setting up and I recently switched from v3arcade to ibProArcade.

One strange thing I've noticed is that private messages from the arcade system don't seem to generate any of the alerts that normal PMs do, namely e-mail messages or pop-up windows.

Is this the way it's supposed to be? I couldn't find a setting to change to make the PMs behave normally.

I always thought that was odd as well but then I thought about it and thought maybe it was done on purpose. When you have a lot of games installed you can get many pm's a day about scores and sometimes it's nice that they don't pop up.

I did find out why the notifications aren't done. When "UPDATE ibf_user" is called to increment pmunread, no change is made to pmpopup which would flag the pop-up to occur. (If pmpopup were 1, it would need to be set to 2.)
