About two-years ago I purchased NewsPhp pro with the sole intention of designing an online magazine from scratch.

The features being marketed appeared to be just what I was looking for and the
program seemed to be one of the most professional available at the time.

It's now november 2006. In January 2006, Newsphp updated their software because it wasn't compatible with other browsers at the time e.g Firefox, Netscape. Now it is.

However in their new version of NewsPHP Pro 2006, in the top menu templates, you cannot design new templates and save them as you were previously able to in their old edition.

I've also now noticed that I having extreme difficulty including tables in the articles section of my NewsPHP system. The source code is fine when I design the tables in Macromedia and then add a link to the page with a table on it. But if i include the table source code in a newsphp article, the entire page becomes distorted.

I have attempted to contact NewsPHP sales and support for 8 months and despite the claim on the front of their site about, "outstanding customer support, reliability guaranteed by the years of successful operation and you can guess why our testimonials are full of gratitude from the satisfied customers. , no one has replied to my emails which is rude and frustrating.

I've now noticed on Newsphp.com that when you click on the order menu button, it comes up with a page proclaiming, "Online orders temporary suspended." Geez, I wonder why.

This is a nightmare of a program where features which worked on several other websites, did not function on this alleged, "fully functional" system.

Has anyone else had problems with NewsPHP. Given the amount of money spent to purchase this product, I am not impressed. I'd like to know if others have had similiar programs and if there is a better news publishing program that can provide similiar features that the NewPHP pro did.
