No, it doesnt exactly stand for anything, however we get the v for vBulletin from its first boards it was created for.

This is strange, I remember reading somewhere that this was visual bulletin board. I read this many years ago when I switched from UBB to VBB.

No, promise you its not, also theres no second B.

Its vB, not vBB. vBB is another software package all together.

i think people just add the second B to mean Board.

vBulletin Board, vB Board, vBB....

i know board isnt part of the name either its just my two tired cents.
